Arborist Inspection

Alex came to my house at 10am, closed the bid at 10:10, had a crew working in the trees by 11:30am. Great work, cleaned up the job site. Definitely recommend California Tree Design for pruning and trimming trees.

After reading all the great five star reviews for this company we decided to give them a try...Because of all the rain and with so many fallen trees, we expected to have to wait for awhile to get an appointment. But, as luck would have it, a California Tree Design crew just happened to be working just a couple of miles down the road and they were able to come do our job late in the afternoon. I honestly thought they would never be able to finish before dark but the crew of at least eight guys and some impressive equipment knocked it out in record time. They did a first class job on all the trees and an equally great cleanup. All five trees will be beautiful when they fill out this spring.

Peter and his team did an absolutely beautiful job pruning five trees and removing some trees from my parents' property. It was amazing to see it done in a matter of hours. Peter has a large team and they work as a well-oiled machine. When my mom got a little spooked by how fast the team could work, Peter and two of his senior team members took extra time to speak with her. (My mom is a tough customer and she is quick to get spooked.) Every day since the team completed their artistry, I ask my mom: "How do the trees look?" and she firmly replies, "Very good." This is high praise from my mom and I can tell that she is happy.

California Tree Design was strongly recommended by my sister. She went through the trouble of getting several quotes. Frankie was professional, understanding of her and her neighbors' needs, and his quote was competitive (even lower than some of the others). Once we communicated with Frankie, we didn't bother getting other quotes. He was good-natured and easy to work with. He responded to texts within minutes. The crew showed up on time, and were gone in less than three hours. They removed a large tree stump (you can't even tell there was anything there) and trimmed a tall pine tree (did a terrific job of thinning out the branches). Every day since the team completed their artistry, I ask my mom: "How do the trees look?" and she firmly replies, "Very good." This is high praise from my mom and I can tell that she is happy.

Wonderful experience and would certainly use them again. They came out to trim our 100-foot eucalyptus tree, and trim a few other trees in our garden. The eucalyptus was such a big job that some other companies couldn't even handle it, but Pete and his crew did it beautifully. They shimmied you trees and got them tidied up in no time. The biggest plus is their skill - they did some beautiful shaping to trees that were very overgrown and hadn't been well cared for in the past. It's really enhanced the garden.
